Board Members

Pamela Floyd is from Hustle, VA (Essex County).  She received her B.S. in Business from VCU and M.S. in Business with a concentration in Nonprofit Association & Management from UMGC.  Ms. Floyd is currently the ITRT for Essex County Public Schools.  Before coming the district ITRT, she taught Personal Finance and Entrepreneurship at her alma mater, Essex High School.  Ms. Floyd runs her own nonprofit, Elevation For Success, which helps students with pathways to trade school, college, military, or straight to work experience.  Fun fact:  she loves to cook and sew clothes (been sewing since the age of 12).  Ms. Floyd is a sports fanatic (Go Eagles, Phillies, and 76ers).  Most importantly, she is the mother of two teenagers, a 15-year-old daughter and a 14-year-old son, Octavia and Elijah.
